I’ve been home for a few days already, but my eyes are still filled with the beauty of the places in southern Utah’s canyon country. In just a bit more than three days’ time, I managed to get to Arches NP, Canyonlands NP and my favorite, Capitol Reef NP. I managed to get some images of all of them, plus Dead Horse Point State Park and Fisher Towers, by staying up to shoot from dawn to dusk, and sometimes at night too, but I feel like I’ve barely skimmed the surface and like this was just a scouting trip. I will be back one day, armed with more knowledge and hopefully more time.
In any case, I am happy with the images I’ve brought home, some of which are collected in the gallery below. Enjoy!

Great collection of images Ugo! 🙂
GORGEOUS! wow!!
Great images, Ugo. I’ve been trekking down to that enchanted region of the Southwest for years, and every time I see something new and inspiring. I just have to watch out for the crowds that could really destroy the mood and the experience. When you see hordes of people cluttering the landscape, then it takes all the fun out of it. I try to get down there between September and November or in March.
