A couple weeks ago, a little snow fell on the hills just south of where I live, so I took a drive one late afternoon, trying to catch some of it, before it all melted. As usual, by best winter images are made at dusk, when the blue sky light reflects off the snow on the ground and contrasts with the warm lights of the cities.
You just have to be at the right place when that elusive moment when the natural and artificial lights balance perfectly.
