A Study in Red

I spent an afternoon in the big city yesterday, as I had to bring daughter and niece to take advantage of the post-Christmas sales season. Having about three hours to spend, I thought of carrying a couple of cameras.

What I almost immediately noticed was that red seemed to be the dominant color, from the store decorations, to the shopping bags, to many people’s items of clothing and even hair, to some well-known brands.

With the light getting low, people scurrying around from store to store to catch the latest offer and bumping into me, I got more than a few blurry shots, but some winners too. What do you think?

P.S. Save for some minor cropping, all of these are straight-out-of-camera JPEGs, shot with the X100s and the X-E2.
